Library Everywhere announced a new stop in Irwinville and a time shift in Mystic
IRIWN COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Library Everywhere announced some new changes that went into effect this month. The new stop will be at the Irwinville Community Center at 1937 GA Hwy 32 W. The new stop will kick-off on Tuesday, July 16, from noon until 1 p.m. Library Everywhere will be at the Community Center until 1 p.m. every first and third Tuesday, according to a release.

Lee County man arrested in connection to death of father
LEESBURG – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Lee County man in connection to the death of his 69-year-old father. The GBI has arrested and charged Tommy Clinton Jones, age 47, of Lee County, with one count of Felony Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault in connection to the death of his father, Tommy Lee Jones, age 69.
