Gordon announces candidacy for House District 28A

Since announcing in January that he would be running as a candidate for the MN House of Representatives District 28A seat, Isanti Mayor James “Jimmy” Gordon has successfully acquired the House District’s Republican support by a landslide vote of nearly 80% of the Convention Delegates. House District 28A encompasses most of Isanti County as well as Fish Lake, Harris and the west side of North Branch in Chisago County.

In January, before the District Convention, Jimmy stated, “I feel that we’re in a different season of state politics, and that we need a fresh perspective, new ideas, and a different skill set during this time.”

It would appear, that residents of 28A, by their commitment of support at the convention, spoke loudly and clearly that they are ready for a change of leadership and excited about moving forward with someone who will stand strong and fight for their conservative ideals.
