WBCA Honors Women’s Basketball for Academics
HOUGHTON, N.Y. — Houghton women’s basketball was honored for their work in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year, earning special mention on the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll for NCAA Division III programs. The Highlanders finished with a team GPA of 3.538. Teams having a GPA higher than 3.0 received special mention within their respective divisions. An 18-year-old Holley woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Route 531 in Ogden on Tuesday. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday identified the driver as Angelena K. Golisano.
