Fatal Accident on I-95 Leaves Driver Dead, Investigation Ongoing

Brevard County, FL: Tragedy struck late last night on Interstate 95 as a 64-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle, resulting in a fatal accident near Mile Marker 184.

The incident occurred at 11:36 PM when a 2007 semi-truck with a trailer was traveling northbound on I-95 in the outside lane. For reasons yet to be determined, the driver of the semi-truck veered across the center and inside lanes. In a harrowing sequence of events, the driver then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to cross all northbound lanes before careening off the roadway to the right and into the woodline.

Tragically, the driver of the semi-truck was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the driver has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Emergency responders and law enforcement swiftly arrived at the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident. As of now, the cause of the crash remains unknown, and the incident is under active investigation by authorities.
