I-75 Northbound Lanes Closed in Hillsborough County Following Tractor Trailer Collision

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – A collision involving two tractor trailers on the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 has led to road closures and expected delays for motorists traveling in Hillsborough County. The incident, which occurred near the 256 Milepost at approximately 1:30 PM on March 19, 2024, resulted in minor injuries to the drivers involved.

According to official reports, the center and outside lanes of I-75 North have been shut down to facilitate the response to the crash, which has also resulted in a diesel fuel spill across the roadway. Emergency crews are at the scene working diligently to clear the hazardous materials and to ensure the lanes are safe for reopening to the public.
