HUDSON, FL – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the community for assistance in a recent high-profile vehicle theft. On March 3, just after 6 p.m., a suspect made away with a purple 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible, a striking and valuable vehicle, from a business located near the intersection of US 19 and New York Ave. in Hudson.

The theft was executed with a degree of premeditation; the suspect, described as a white male aged between 50 and 60, utilized a white 1989 to 1991 Chevrolet K30 tow truck to carry out the crime. Surveillance footage shows the suspect loading the Camaro onto the tow truck before driving off eastward on New York Ave., making off with the classic convertible under the fading light of day.

The stolen vehicle, notable for its distinct purple color and model year, represents not just a significant financial loss to its owner but also a piece of automotive passion. The Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible is esteemed among car enthusiasts for its performance and design, making the theft all the more disheartening.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the theft, the suspect, or the whereabouts of the stolen Camaro to step forward. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office emphasizes that even the smallest piece of information could be instrumental in recovering the vehicle and bringing the perpetrator to justice.

Individuals with knowledge of the case are encouraged to contact the Pasco Sheriff’s Crime Tips Line at 1-800-706-2488, referencing case number 24007712. Tips can also be submitted online through the Pasco Sheriff’s website at pascosheriff.com/tips. You fuked up!!… That truck stands out like a sore thumb !!…. Probably stashed in a warehouse somewhere close !!..They’ll disassemble the tow truck and part it out so it can’t be found.

Can't be too many white 4dr. flatbed trucks out there.....it's going to be local job....as he had to know the car was there, and a timeframe of when to steal it ! I'd be looking into the D.M.V. records of such a vehicle.....
