The thing about online is that people can open up themselves a lot more fully and share things easier than if they were talking to somebody in person, and that leads to scammers taking advantage of information that they used to their benefit and the detriment of the person. A person who is speaking with someone must demand certain things to make it a little more confirmed, and even then you just never know. There are many apps out there like Telegram and Skype, where a person can do video calls, and if they refuse, there is just no reasonable excuse why a person cannot get on a video call in this day and age. Now that there are deep fakes, you don’t even know if that’s real. The other thing is what about their family and their friends? Get some verification by researching online where they say they were born

It seems our only interaction with each nowadays occurs online. How sad for those who trust this system, especially in today’s corrupt scamming online society.
