A new restaurant is coming to Gallipolis.

In a recent social media post, Fuel Counter announced that it was getting ready to open a new restaurant in Gallipolis. No official grand opening date for the new restaurant - which is located at 37 Holland Drive - has been announced yet, but Fuel Counter hopes to open the new location sometime in February.

Fuel Counter is a growing chain of restaurants that seek to provide quick healthy meals that are made with fresh and nutritious ingredients, according to the restaurant's website. The Gallipolis location will be Fuel Counter's fourth restaurant and its first in Ohio. The chain currently has 3 open locations in West Virginia.

The restaurant's menu includes salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and wraps. Customers can choose from styles like the Market (which has fig, goat cheese, mushroom, spinach, balsamic glaze, and garlic oil), the Tuscan (which has prosciutto, arugula, ricotta, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, olive oil, and parmesan), the 809 (which has bacon, pear, walnuts, provolone, gorgonzola, cream sauce, and pesto), and Oh Kale Yeah, which has grilled chicken, tomato, avocado, fresh jalapeños, kale, fresh apples, walnuts, and house vinaigrette.

You can also build your own salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and wraps. Fuel Counter offers a wide variety of options. Protein options include bacon, chicken, sausage, ham, pepperoni, sirloin, tofu, turkey, and more. Customers also have several cheese options to choose from: American, feta, goat, fresh mozzarella, parmesan, pepper jack, and more. Then customers can add toppings like almonds, apple crisp, artichokes, arugula, banana peppers, avocado, basil, beets, seasonal fruit, black beans, broccoli, brown rice, carrots, chickpeas, corn, cranberries, croutons, cucumber, dried oregano, edamame, figs, green peppers, hard-boiled eggs, jalapenos, mushrooms, black olives, Kalamata olives, and more.

Also on the menu are sides like chips, pickles, fruit cups, and chocolate chip cookies. If you want something to drink, the restaurant offers some smoothies like the Peanut Butter Split (which is made with peanut butter, banana, cocoa, honey, and almond milk), the Tropical Fruit Boost (which is made with strawberry, pineapple, banana, mango, and orange juice), and the Reset, which is made with blueberry, mango, banana, honey, cinnamon, and orange juice. You can also create your own smoothie.

If you want to check out the new restaurant when it opens, you can find it at 37 Holland Drive, Gallipolis, OH 45631.

To get updates about the new restaurant's opening date, follow Fuel Counter on social media or check their website.
