A new restaurant has opened in Gallipolis, Ohio

A new restaurant has come to Gallipolis.

Are you craving some Mexican food? If the answer is yes, you might want to know about the new restaurant Reyes Taqueria & Cantina, which opened its doors earlier this month, according to the new restaurant's social media account. Patrons can find the restaurant in Gallipolis at 234 3rd Ave.

At the new restaurant, customers can get appetizers like cheese dip, guacamole that is made by hand, cheesy chori fries (which are fries loaded with chorizo and queso), mummy shrimp (crispy bacon-wrapped shrimp that comes with avocado and the house aioli), and flautas.

Reyes also serves some burritos (check out the burrito original, which is stuffed with steak, rice, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese), quesadillas (check out the Reyes quesadilla, which is filled with al pastor, cheese, onions, and cilantro and is served with guacamole, queso, and homemade hot sauce), street tacos (which can be filled with grilled chicken, grilled steak, grilled shrimp, al pastor, carnitas, or chorizo), chimichangas (which are filled with beans and your choice of chicken or steak), tortas (which are filled with lettuce, tomato, avocado, jalapenos, mayo, and your choice of protein), and more.

Currently, the restaurant is offering the special quesabirria, which consists of 3 tortillas that are filled with birria meat, melted cheese, cilantro, and onion.

If you have room for something sweet, Reyes has desserts like churros, fried ice cream, Spanish flan, tres leches cake, and sopapillas, which are fried tortillas covered with butter, cinnamon, and honey.

If you want something to drink, the restaurant serves margaritas that come in a range of flavors and non-alcoholic options like horchata, soft drinks, iced tea, coffee, and Jarritos.

The restaurant is currently open 6 days a week, Monday to Thursday from 11 AM to 9 PM and Friday to Saturday from 11 AM to 10 PM. It's closed on Sundays (however, the restaurant said that it could be open on Sundays in the future).
