A new restaurant is coming to Middleburg Heights, Ohio

    2024-04-24

A popular restaurant chain known for its cheesesteaks is planning to open a new location in Middleburg Heights.

If you're a fan of cheesesteaks, you might be interested to know that the restaurant chain The Original Steaks and Hoagies is planning to open a new location in Middleburg Heights. According to the upcoming restaurant's social media account, the new restaurant will be located at 7214 Pearl Rd (where Subway used to be).

The restaurant chain's menu, of course, features cheesesteaks. Their standard cheesesteak comes with ribeye steak and your choice of cheese (cheese options include whiz, provolone, or white American). They also have cheesesteaks like the original (which comes with fried onions, mushrooms, hot and sweet peppers, and your choice of cheese), the ultimate (which comes with lettuce, tomato, oregano, oil and vinegar, mayo, salami, onions, and white American cheese), the hangover (which comes with hot sauce, fried egg, bacon, onions, hot peppers, and whiz), and the black and blue, which comes with Cajun seasoning, mushrooms, and blue cheese cream.

They also have chicken offerings for those who don't eat beef. Check out the chicken version of their original cheesesteak, chicken parmesan sandwich (which has breaded chopped chicken, marinara, oregano, and provolone), and chicken teriyaki sandwich, which has fried onions, pineapple, sweet peppers, and provolone.

Their menu includes other hoagies and wraps such as a South Philly (which comes with Italian peppered ham, genoa salami, hot capicola, and provolone), ham and cheese, turkey BLT, and spicy Italian, which comes with Genoa salami, hot capicola, pepperoni, hot pepper relish, and house-made spicy mayo.

For those who don't eat meat, the restaurant also has subs with cauliflower. They offer a cauliflower version of their original cheesesteak as well as a cauliflower teriyaki sandwich and buffalo cauliflower sub.

The restaurant chain also serves appetizers like chicken tenders, boneless wings (which can be served with one of the following: buffalo sauce, honey mustard, BBQ sauce, or Cajun dry rub), Cajun fried pickles, onion rings, provolone half moons (which are lightly breaded and fried provolone wedges), and pretzels. The menu also has some salads and several fries options: fresh cut fries, loaded fries (which are topped with whiz and bacon), beer-battered fries, Cajun fries, and pizza fries, which are loaded with marinara, oregano, shredded provolone, and pepperoni.

If you have room for something sweet, the restaurant offers fried cheesecake.

If you want to check out the new restaurant when it opens, you can find it at 7214 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130.
