A new restaurant has opened in Middleburg Heights, Ohio

    2024-05-15

A popular sandwich shop chain has opened a new location in Middleburg Heights.

Do you like McAlister's Deli? If the answer is yes, then you might want to know that the chain has opened a new restaurant in Middleburg Heights at 6768 Pearl Rd. According to the new location's social media account, the Middleburg Heights restaurant celebrated its grand opening on April 22.

The sandwich shop's menu includes sandwiches such as McAlister's Club (which is served on wheat bread and comes with smoked turkey, Black Forest ham, bacon, sharp cheddar, Swiss, spring mix, tomato, mayo, and honey mustard), ham and cheese melt, French dip (which is served on a toasted baguette and comes with Black Angus roast beef, melted Swiss, and au jus), Reuben (which is served on marbled rye and comes with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and Thousand Island dressing), and more.

They also offer salads such as grilled chicken salad, chef salad, Caesar salad, southwest chicken and avocado salad, and more.

The chain is also known for their "giant spuds," which are big baked potatoes loaded with various toppings. You can get a chipotle chicken & bacon spud (which has grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar-jack, chipotle ranch, and green onions), veggie spud (which has spinach, broccoli, red onions, house-roasted multicolored peppers, and cheese dip), and spud Max, which has ham, turkey, bacon, cheddar-jack, green onions, black olives, and sour cream.

In addition, they have soups like broccoli and cheddar, country potato, chili, veggie chili, and fire-roasted vegetable soup.

If you want something to quench your thirst, the location, of course, offers the chain's signature sweet tea as well as lemonade, coffee, and soft drinks.

If you have room for something sweet, the chain offers desserts like Oreo cheesecake, carrot cake, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and brownies.

Here is what a local guide had to say about the new restaurant in a Google review:

Delicious. Light years better than Panera or any other big chain deli restaurant. Inside was remarkably clean. It did take about 8 min for a single turkey sandwich to come out but I’ll chalk that up to new hires. I can’t wait to come back again and try more of the menu.

    Another local guide wrote:

Save your money ! The food was decent but way too much for what you’re getting. I ordered pickup. My soup (Broccoli Cheddar) wasn’t even full but was so so good. Way better than Panera’s. The chicken tortilla soup was good and had a nice spiciness to it. Both sandwiches were good but very salty. (I had a half Rueben and husband had a full New Yorker) I’ve had other stuff from them in the past and it’s good.

If you want to check out the new location, you can find it at 6768 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130.

The shop is open 7 days a week, Monday to Sunday from 10:30 AM to 9 PM.
