NEW ALBANY, OH - A popular restaurant chain has opened a new location in the area.

Are you a fan of The Original Pancake House? If you answered yes to that question, then you might be glad to hear that the chain has opened a new restaurant in New Albany at 6330 E Dublin Granville Rd. According to the restaurant's social media account, the New Albany location celebrated its opening day on July 16.

The restaurant's menu includes breakfast items like the Dutch Baby (which is an oven-baked, egg-based souffle), apple pancake (which is a German-style pancake that is oven-baked and filled with Granny Smith apples), Dutch Delight (which is an oven-baked, egg-based souffle stuffed with strawberries and bananas), oatmeal, fruit bowls, crepes (check out the Buckeye crepes, which are filled with Nutella and topped with toasted hazelnuts, peanut butter chips, and chocolate syrup), Belgian waffles, buttermilk pancakes, and sourdough French toast.

If you prefer something savory, the menu also has options like classic eggs benedict (the restaurant also has variations like the Irish eggs benedict, which comes with corned beef hash), omelets (check out the Mexican chorizo omelet, which is filled with spicy chorizo, fresh red and green bell peppers, onions, and Oaxaca cheese), and savory crepes, which are stuffed with fresh sautéed spinach, mushrooms, and onions, and topped with hollandaise sauce and your choice of diced tomatoes or chopped bacon.

A local guide had this to say about the new addition to New Albany in a Google review:

For the first time, I tried their food. Very good food compared with others, especially the bacon. Restaurant just opened several days ago. Price is higher than average. Service was great and clean. Give it a try. Coffee is around $4.50.

    Another customer wrote:

A great addition to Hamilton Quarter. Food is a little pricey, but was matched with quality. My cherry crepes were delicious. Others in my party loved the classic breakfast with various meats. Pancakes light and flavorful. Eggs cooked correctly. Hash browns hot and crisp. Samantha was very pleasant and accommodated our order changes with ease. Will definitely make this a go-to breakfast spot.

If you want to check out the new restaurant, you can find it at 6330 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43081.

The new restaurant is open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 2:30 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 7 AM to 3 PM.
