A new restaurant is coming to North Olmsted, Ohio

NORTH OLMSTED, OH - A new restaurant is coming to Great Northern Mall.

Are you a fan of pho? If the answer is yes, you might want to know that Build the Pho is planning to open a new restaurant at 400 Great Northern Blvd in North Olmsted. According to Great Northern Mall's website, the restaurant is expected to open sometime in the autumn.

The restaurant's menu features customizable pho bowls. First, you pick your noodles: rice noodles, egg noodles, or vermicelli. Second, you choose either the beef broth or vegan broth. Third, you pick one of the following proteins: rare beef, beef brisket, meatballs, beef tendon, beef tripe, sliced chicken, tofu, or shrimp. If you're really hungry, check out the mega pho, which comes with all of the proteins.

Aside from pho, the restaurant has starters like deep-fried chicken wings (which come with house sweet chili sauce on the side), Vietnamese-style fried fish cake (which also comes with house sweet chili sauce), fried spring rolls (which are filled with pork, carrot, onion, taro, and jicama), summer rolls (which are filled with shrimp, lettuce, mint, cucumber, and rice noodles, and come with plum peanut sauce; the restaurant also offers a vegetarian version with tofu), mango salad with shrimp (which also has cucumber, mint, onion, cilantro, and sweet chili sauce), basil popcorn chicken, fried calamari, rock shrimp (which is tempura shrimp that is covered in a spicy aioli with basil), and vegetable maki rolls, which are fried spring rolls filled with cabbage, carrots, and scallions.

Build the Pho also has dishes like grilled pork chop (which comes with a 10-ounce pork chop, cucumber, fresh tomato, white rice, and soup), grilled chicken (which comes with 10 ounces of grilled chicken, cucumber, fresh tomato, white rice, and soup), and grilled steak, which comes with 6 ounces of steak, cucumber, fresh tomato, white rice, and soup.

Also on the menu are cold noodle bowls, which come with vermicelli, lettuce, pickled carrots, pickled radish, a spring roll, scallions, peanuts, sweet chili sauce, and your choice of protein: grilled pork, grilled chicken, or grilled steak.
