A new restaurant has opened in Lakewood, Ohio

LAKEWOOD, OH - A new bar & grill has opened for business in the city.

At the end of last month, a new bar & grill called Doc Lanky’s officially opened its doors, according to the restaurant's social media account. Customers can find the new restaurant in Lakewood at 15609 Madison Ave.

The food menu includes burgers like the Royale with cheese (which is a quarter-pound smash burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and American cheese), Black & Bleu (which is a Cajun-spiced smash burger with crumbled bleu cheese and pickled red onions), and Lanky special, which is a smash burger with caramelized onions, bacon weave, Lanky sauce, and aged white cheddar. For those with dietary restrictions, burgers can be made with Beyond patties and/or vegan cheese.

Also on the menu are chicken wings, hand-breaded chicken tenders, quesadillas, pizzas (for those with dietary restrictions, pizzas can be made gluten-free and/or with vegan cheese), and sandwiches like a chopped cheese (which comes with a chopped beef patty, American cheese, cheddar, mustard, onion, and Lanky sauce) and Lakewood cheesesteak, which comes with shredded short rib, sautéed mushrooms, onions, peppers, horseradish cream, and your choice of provolone or cheese whiz.

If you want something to drink, the bar offers a selection of beers and cocktails like an espresso martini and the Westsider, which is made with vodka, blueberry, and lemonade.

This is about to be Lakewood’s best bar. First of all, the food is incredible. Wings, pizza, burgers - they have everything. Probably the best chicken tenders I’ve had in my life, no joke. They’re huge. They even have a gourmet chopped cheese sandwich. So good.

On top of that, the drinks are CHEAP. I’m talking $3 beers and super affordable cocktails (which are delicious by the way, Tony the bartender is masterful). I recommend the Westsider, but if you’re looking to jumpstart your night with something unique - order a “Little Beer”. You won’t regret it.

Doc Lanky's is open 6 days a week, Tuesday to Sunday from 4 PM to 2 AM. It's closed on Mondays.
