Are you in the mood for chicken? If you answered yes to that question, you might want to know that CityBird has opened a new restaurant in Amelia at 1301 Ohio Pike. According to the restaurant's social media account, the Amelia location celebrated its grand opening on July 29. To celebrate the grand opening, the new restaurant gave a year's worth of free CityBird meals to the first 50 customers who showed up that day.
The Amelia restaurant is CityBird's ninth. The restaurant also has other Greater Cincinnati locations in Anderson, OTR, Fountain Square, Crestview Hills, and Harper's Point as well as locations in Indiana, Illinois, and North Carolina.
The menu features the restaurant's signature chicken tenders. You can dip them into house-made sauces like City sauce, lemon thyme ranch, buffalo bleu, hot honey, hot Dijon, and hickory BBQ.
You can also get chicken tender sandwiches like the CityBird (which comes with the City slaw, City sauce, and pickles), the lemon thyme (which comes with shredded iceberg lettuce, lemon thyme ranch, and pickles), the spicy (which comes with smoky tenders, ranch slaw, and sriracha mayo), and the buffalo bleu, which comes with buffalo bleu tenders, iceberg lettuce, lemon thyme ranch, and pickles. In addition, the restaurant has a salad made with tenders, romaine, kale, cabbage, carrots, red quinoa, sunflower seeds, golden raisins, and almonds. You can dress it with CityBird vinaigrette or lemon thyme ranch.
As for sides, the restaurant serves fries, city slaw, salad, and applesauce. If you want something to drink, options include house-made lemonade, sweet tea, fountain soda, apple juice, and milk.
Here is what a customer had to say about the new restaurant in a Google review:
My 5yr old daughter is very particular when it comes to chicken tenders and fries. She loved them. I really loved the Watermelon sweet tea
