A new restaurant has opened in Parma, Ohio

A local restaurant known for its Caribbean fare has opened a new location in Parma.

If you're a fan of Caribbean fare, you might want to know about the new restaurant Pica Pollo Dos, which recently opened its doors in Parma at 5720 Ridge Rd, according to the restaurant's social media account. Pica Pollo Dos is the second restaurant from the owners of Pica Pollo West, which is located in Cleveland at 3784 W 117th St.

The menu includes starters like empanadas (the restaurant offers empanadas with chicken, beef, or crab) and mozzarella sticks. Also on the menu are sides such as the rice of the day, tostones, mashed potatoes, sweet plantains, and French fries.

As for main courses, Pica Pollo is known for its Caribbean-style fried chicken. The restaurant offers white meat, dark meat, tenders, bacon-wrapped tenders, and wings. Also on the menu are grilled chicken breast, octopus salad, shrimp ceviche, Caribbean salad, shrimp & octopus in garlic, sauteed shrimp with garlic, fried jumbo shrimp, whole red snapper, and filet of basa, a type of catfish.

If you have room for something sweet, the menu includes dessert options like vanilla flan, coconut flan, tres leches cake, cheesecake, and coconut candy. If you want something to drink, the restaurant serves soft drinks and some juices.

The new restaurant is open 6 days a week, Monday to Thursday from 11:30 AM to 9 PM, Friday from 11:30 AM to 10 PM, and Saturday from 12 PM to 10 PM. It's closed on Sundays.
