A new restaurant has opened in Cincinnati, Ohio

CINCINNATI, OH - A new restaurant has opened downtown.

Are you looking for a restaurant with meatless options? If the answer is yes, you might want to check out the new restaurant Almost V'Gan Lounge, which opened its doors in late July in Cincinnati at 34 E Court St, according to the restaurant's social media account.

The menu includes small plates like smoked jackfruit tacos (which have sriracha slaw, BBQ aioli, and grilled lime), smoked jackfruit nachos (which are loaded with pico, cilantro, and pickled red onions), grilled tofu sliders (which come with kale slaw, broccoli sprouts, and grilled tofu covered with Carolina-style sauce), sweet potato flatbread (which is topped with veggies, pesto, fresh micro greens, and olive oil), and vegan wings, which can be served with buffalo yuzu or bourbon lemon pepper sauce. If you must have some meat, the menu has options like smoked pot roast tacos, smoked pot roast nachos, grilled salmon sliders, chicken flatbread (which is topped with grilled chicken, sriracha bourbon sauce, red onions, and cherry tomatoes), and chicken wings, which can be served with one of the following sauces: sticky habanero & honey, bourbon lemon pepper, buffalo yuzu, BBQ, or Carolina gold.

If you have room for something sweet, the restaurant offers vegan-friendly peach cobbler.

Found this place randomly searching for veg* friendly places near TQL stadium last night. We're from more than an hour away, but we come to Cincy occasionally to catch an FC Cincinnati match. We hadn't heard of this place before (new place as of three weeks ago), but were pretty stoked to try it, as our normal pre match fave can get a bit packed before games. The food and presentation were fantastic, and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. We chatted with them for a few minutes, and they were incredibly gracious. After talking about how I was not super into "buffalo" type sauces, they even were kind enough to bring us out some buffalo cauliflower to convince me. It was fantastic, and we'll definitely be coming back!

Almost V'Gan Lounge is open 4 days a week, Thursday to Friday from 2 PM to 10 PM, Saturday from 4 PM to 12 AM, and Sunday from 4 PM to 10 PM. The kitchen closes at 9 PM.
