PARMA HEIGHTS, OH - A new takeout restaurant/grocery store has come to town.

At the end of July, Bazar Market and Grill opened for business in Parma Heights at 6619 Pearl Rd, according to the new store's social media account. In addition to being a grocery store with European goods, Bazar is a takeout restaurant. On August 23, Bazar will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the mayor of the city at 12 PM, per this event page from the business. There will be free food and snacks to celebrate the occasion.

The menu includes items like gyros (which come with lamb/beef, tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce), chicken gyro burritos, chicken pineapple BBQ sandwiches (which come with grilled chicken, pineapple, BBQ sauce, sauteed onions, and provolone), Reubens (which come with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and 1000 Island dressing), Philly cheesesteaks, BLTs, chicken teriyaki sandwiches, and cold cut subs, which come with smoked ham, hard salami, pepperoni, provolone, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers, and oregano mayo.

In addition, the restaurant offers pierogies, potato pancakes, cabbage rolls, beef stroganoff, cabbage & noodles, homemade garlic sausage, meat pies, stuffed peppers, spaetzle, and more.

If you have room for something sweet, Bazar has desserts such as apple roulette (which is made with apples, biscuit dough, and chocolate), medovik (which is a honey cake that is popular in Ukraine), and tort karpatka, which is made with biscuit dough, cream, and chocolate.

Here is what a customer had to say about the new addition to Parma Heights in a Google review:

Awesome place. Great European food and subs and gyros look amazing as well. Bought some crepes (meat and cheese) and tried their bread with meat. All really great! Glad to have this place in town - highly recommend.

    A local guide wrote:

Very nice people running the place. The kitchen was very clean. Carry out only. We had the reuben and pineapple chicken hot sandwiches. We will try the gyro next time - fresh off the spit. They also have Ukranian deli meets, cheeses and pastries along with frozen, dry and cooler grocery items. Parking behind the building. They are on the north east corner of Pearl Rd and Beresford. Check them out!

If you want to check out the new store, you can find it at 6619 Pearl Rd, Parma Heights, OH 44130.

Bazar Market & Grill is open 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
