BRYAN, OH - A new restaurant specializing in tapas has come to town.

On July 19, the new restaurant Zazarac's Bar & Eatery opened its doors to the public, according to Zazarac's social media account. Customers can find the restaurant in Bryan at 116 W High St.

The restaurant's menu includes tapas such as potato boulettes (which are mashed potato balls with bacon, cheddar, chives, and garlic), stuffed mushrooms (which are filled with dry-cured chorizo, parmesan, and shallots), mussels (which are served with a white wine and tomato reduction, garlic, and shallots), shrimp fries (which are crispy shrimp ribbons that come with Thai BBQ sauce), steak morceaux (tenderloin steak pieces with your choice of garlic butter sauce or dipping mustards), shrimp tocino (which is bacon-wrapped crunchy shrimp drizzled with cream cheese), and more.

If you're in the mood for something sweet, Zazarac's has desserts like dolce vernas (cake with peanut butter, chocolate, and cream cheese), banana beurre (banana souffle with chocolate, walnuts, and a graham cracker crust), ice cream that is churned in-house, and more.

If you want something to drink, the restaurant serves a variety of cocktails like palomas, raspberry limoncello martinis, and the Zazarac, which is made with cognac, bitters, absinthe, a sugar cube, and ice. For those who don't drink alcohol, the menu includes mocktails like a non-alcoholic whiskey mule and a non-alcoholic lemon drop martini.

Here is what a local guide had to say about the new restaurant in a Google review:

The waiters were sweet and friendly. The upscale drink and snacks/tapas vibe is very classy. It's the perfect place for a light happy hour with friends before dinner or a post dinner nighttime cocktail lounge or speakeasy vibe. I'll definitely be back. The food was good, though portions were small. The drinks were delicious as well, though generally $10 or above unless getting a wine or beer. You could spend around $15-20 for a single drink and tapas. If you want more, it'll be $20-40/person.
