A new restaurant has opened in Kettering, Ohio

KETTERING, OH - A new restaurant has come to Fairmont Plaza Shopping Center.

On August 30, the new eatery Socialite Cafe celebrated its grand opening in Kettering at 4011 Marshall Rd, according to the restaurant's social media account. Per its website, Socialite Cafe describes itself as a "European cafe" with a "classy environment" and "a delicious yet casual menu." The cafe is a new venture from owners Rebekah and Scott Allendevaux, who were inspired to open the restaurant by their travels between Dayton and England.

The cafe offers a variety of coffee drinks, tea, soups, croissants, and sandwiches. Current sandwich options include the Edie Sedgwick (which comes with turkey, bacon, pepper jack cheese, guacamole, tomato, aioli, and romaine, and is served on ciabatta), the Mrs. Astor (which comes with ham, cream cheese, Dijon, cucumber, and diced red onion, and is served on ciabatta), and the Vanderbilt, which comes with roast beef, sharp cheddar, sliced red onion, tomato, lettuce, and horseradish mayo, and is served on multigrain bread. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, Socialite Cafe makes the Jackie O (which is a grilled cheese sandwich with pickled jalapenos, Tabasco, cumin, and cilantro) and the Chamberlain, which comes with hummus, guacamole, diced onions, tomato, romaine, and smoked Tabasco, and is served on multigrain bread.

Here is what a customer had to say about the new addition to Kettering in a Google review:

Absolutely obsessed with this place!! The vibes are 100/10. I’ve visited most of the cafes/coffee shops in the area and this one has the best decor/atmosphere/ambience, hands down. Whoever designed it did an incredible job! I want to spend all my time here, it’s so cozy and welcoming. The staff were also great, going above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. I ordered a plain latte but then saw some rose syrup on the counter that looked interesting, and they were happy to change my order on the fly. Really great service. I will definitely be making this one of my regular hangouts!!

This cafe has charm and warm vibes in abundance! I had an amazing hot sandwich, the most delicious tea latte I've ever had, and a scrumptious pumpkin cream cheese muffin. I'll be returning again soon!

If you want to check out the new eatery, you can find it at 4011 Marshall Rd, Dayton, OH 45429.

The new restaurant is open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday from 7 AM to 9 PM. It's closed on Sundays.
