A new restaurant has opened in Oberlin, Ohio

OBERLIN, OH - A new restaurant has come to town.

In case you missed it, Wood Fired Wonders - which is a new restaurant located in Oberlin at 27 W College St - recently opened for business, according to the restaurant's social media account. The restaurant describes itself as "an original bar & grill with an elevated atmosphere where the finest fresh ingredients are crafted into unique takes on modern American classics," per its website.

From 11 AM to 2 PM, the restaurant offers breakfast and lunch items like steak & eggs, biscuits & chicken gravy, omelets, customizable energy bowls, wood fired chicken breast sandwiches (which come with smoked mozzarella, homemade pesto, and roasted tomatoes), burgers (their burgers are made with 100% Angus beef), and more.

From 5 PM to 10 PM, the restaurant has dinner items like grilled honey lime chicken breast, Ora King salmon (which is wood-fired before being finished in the oven and seasoned with the restaurant's smoked sea salt & pepper blend), shrimp & scallop kabobs, steaks (for those who don't eat meat, Wood Fired offers a vegan steak), and more.

If you have room for something sweet, Wood Fired has desserts like cookies & milk cake, celebration cake with funfetti sprinkles, carrot cake, and cheesecake topped with raspberry donut filling and whipped cream.

Fantastic menu. Every dish is on point with taste, presentation, and portion sizes are a great value for the price. They always have daily/weekly specials running and items that are not commonly found in this area. With both breakfast in the day and fine dining for dinner, this place is a great addition to Lorain Co.

The staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu and the town. The owners are hands-on and apart of daily operations. You can tell everyone really cares and takes pride in what they’re putting out to the public.
