A new restaurant has opened in Mentor, Ohio

MENTOR, OH - A new bar & grill has opened in the city.

On August 17, Tommy Boy's celebrated its grand opening, according to the restaurant's social media account. Customers can find the new place in Mentor at 8330 Tyler Blvd. Per Tommy Boy's website, the Mentor spot has a 163-inch TV screen.

The menu includes sandwiches like a turkey meatball sub, the B-Smithonator (which is a grilled chicken sandwich that is served on a brioche bun and comes with jerk mayo, mango salsa, lettuce, and tomato), Andy's Spicy Smasher (which is a double smashburger with melted cheese, jalapeno, pickles, and onions), gourmet grilled cheese (which is served on panini-pressed Texas toast and comes with multiple cheeses, bacon, ham, and fresh tomato), classic Italian sub (which is a hoagie that comes with sliced ham, pepperoni, salami, melted mozzarella, house Italian dressing, lettuce, onion, and banana pepper), and more.

Also offered at the pub are hand-breaded chicken fingers with fresh-cut fries, Marky Mark crab cakes, tart cherry salad (which is made with mixed greens, tart cherries, candied pecans, and goat cheese), homemade garlic knots, bone-in chicken wings (which can be served with the following sauces: BBQ, mild, hot, spicy BBQ, smoky bacon ranch, teriyaki, garlic parmesan, hot garlic parmesan, honey mustard, and Red Right 88), and pizzas. You can get pizzas like buffalo chicken ranch, hot honey pepperoni, the Made Man (which is topped with the house red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ham, and salami), and the Valentina, which is topped with garlic white sauce, onion, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, and black olives. For those with dietary restrictions, pizzas can be made with vegan cheese and/or cauliflower crust.
