A popular restaurant recently reopened its doors at a new location in Austintown.

At the end of July, Prima Cucina Italiana had to close the doors of its original location in downtown Youngstown due to construction in the city, according to this local news article. Fortunately, for fans of the restaurant, Prima Cucina Italiana reopened for business at a new location in Austintown. According to the restaurant's social media account, Prima reopened on September 3 at 4500 Mahoning Ave.

The restaurant's current menu includes starters like warm marinated olives, blistered shishito peppers (which have lemon, extra virgin olive oil, and sea salt), crispy artichokes (which have lemon aioli and pecorino), Devils on Horseback (which are bacon-wrapped dates filled with sausage), cozze (mussels cooked with garlic, hot soppressata, and tomato), grilled octopus (which is served with warm potatoes, celery, arugula, Gaeta olives, capers, and citrus vinaigrette), and more.

Prima Cucina Italiana also has pasta dishes like spaghetti pomodoro, linguine allo scoglio (which consists of squid ink pasta with clams, mussels, wild shrimp, garlic, white wine, tomato, and chili flakes), tonnarelli alla carbonara (which has guanciale, egg, cracked black pepper, pecorino, and parmigiano reggiano), spaghetti alle vongole (which has clams, white wine, garlic, and chili flakes), and more.

The restaurant also has eggplant parmesan, pollo alla Milanese (which consists of a breaded chicken cutlet with arugula, lemon, and shaved parmesan), chicken parmesan (which is served with spaghetti pomodoro), pollo alla mattone (which consists of chicken that is cooked under a brick with lemon, capers, butter, and Brussels sprouts), grilled skirt steak (which comes with salsa verde, roasted rosemary potatoes, and rapini), center-cut filet mignon (which is aged 21 days), Tomahawk chop (which is a 35-ounce bone-in ribeye that is aged 21 days), and the fish of the day.

As for sides, the restaurant offers polenta, roasted rosemary fingerling potatoes, rapini (which is seasoned with garlic and chili flakes), roasted Brussels sprouts (which have lemon and parmesan), and escarole with garlic and chili flakes.

If you want to check out the new location, you can find it at 4500 Mahoning Ave, Austintown, OH 44515.

The new location is open 6 days a week, Monday to Thursday from 5 PM to 10 PM and Friday to Saturday from 5 PM to 11 PM. It's closed on Sundays. Reservations can be made on OpenTable (Prima is currently working on updating the page's information).
