A new restaurant has opened in Toledo, Ohio

TOLEDO, OH - A popular restaurant chain known for its fried chicken has opened a new location in the city.

Are you a fan of Dave's Hot Chicken? If you answered yes, you might want to know that the chain has opened a new restaurant in Toledo at 5231 Monroe St, Suite C. According to the restaurant's social media account, the Toledo location celebrated its grand opening on September 27.

The restaurant's menu, of course, features Dave's signature hot chicken tenders. For those who don't really like spice, you can have your chicken tenders served at the "no spice" level. Dave's heat scale goes from no spice, lite mild, mild, medium, hot, extra hot, and all the way to reaper, which is the hottest level the chain offers and typically requires you to sign a waiver.

Also on the menu are sliders (which come with tenders, kale slaw, pickles, and Dave's sauce on a potato bun) and Dave's bites, which are white meat chicken tender bites.

As for sides, the restaurant offers mac and cheese, fries, cheese fries, and kale slaw.

If you need something to cool down your taste-buds, the restaurant offers shakes in the flavors vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. The chain also has shakes topped with Oreos, M&M's, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

My first time trying Dave’s hot chicken. I got the medium flavor and it tasted more like a mild. Didn’t make me sweat. Next time I’ll try a step hotter. Chicken was crispy and fresh. It didn’t taste like raising canes which feels more moist - which works for them. Seasoning on the fries was nice and the pickles were a nice touch. Pickle lovers will appreciate! Service was fast as it could possibly be. The staff were super nice too. Liked the decor inside too. I’ll be back to try again!
