A new restaurant is coming to Boardman, Ohio

A popular restaurant chain is opening a new location in Boardman.

Are you a fan of BIBIBOP Asian Grill? If you answered yes to that question, you might want to know that the restaurant chain is opening a new location in Boardman at 377 Boardman Poland Rd, according to BIBIBOP Asian Grill's website. The Boardman location is expected to open its doors sometime in December, according to this social media post from the General Manager of the upcoming restaurant.

Per the restaurant's website, BIBIBOP Asian Grill was founded by CEO Charley Shin, who "grew up in the outskirts of Seoul, South Korea." The restaurant's menu was inspired by a visit to his childhood friend's home, when his friend's mother served him an egg over rice, which was "a luxury at the time."

The chain's menu features customizable bowls. First, you start with a base. Base options include supergreen salad, sweet potato noodles, purple rice, and white rice.

Then you choose your protein. Options include Korean BBQ beef, steak, chicken, spicy chicken, tofu, and vegetables.

Then you can add any of these hot toppings to your bowl: black beans, bean sprouts, roasted sesame broccoli, and potatoes.

After that, you can add any of these cold toppings to your bowl: corn, carrots, cheese, cucumber, eggs, kimchi, pickled red cabbage, and sesame kale.

Finally, you choose one of these sauces: yum yum, teriyaki, spicy sriracha, sesame ginger, or sesame oil.

Their menu also has curated bowl options if you don't feel like building your own bowl. The chain offers the BIBIBOP Fan Favorite (which comes with sweet potato noodles, purple rice, chicken, broccoli, potatoes, carrots, cheese, corn, and yum yum sauce) and teriyaki tofu & greens bowl, which comes with salad, tofu, potatoes, black beans, bean sprouts, kale, corn, and teriyaki sauce.

If you have room for a little dessert, BIBIBOP offers gluten-free chocolate chip cookies. In addition to your standard soft drinks, the restaurant offers lemonade made with cane sugar, sweetened green tea, black currant black tea, mixed berry omija tea, hibiscus lemonade, and passionfruit lemonade.

The restaurant is expected to be open 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 9 PM.
