CANTON, OH - A new restaurant is coming to the Hall of Fame Village.

On October 24, the new restaurant Gridiron Gastropub is set to open for business, according to Gridiron's website. Customers will be able to find the restaurant in Canton's Hall of Fame Village at 2101 Hall of Fame Way NW, Suite 1. The restaurant will also have a grand opening on November 8, when Gridiron will expand its hours of operation. Per its social media account, the restaurant describes itself as "a vibrant, sports-inspired dining experience with locally sourced, made-from-scratch dishes."

The menu will include appetizers ("first-downs") like bread service (which comes with house-made beer bread, whipped honey butter, and crumbled pepper bacon), pork belly burnt ends, Maryland crab cakes (which will be served with whole grain mustard aioli, radish, and micro greens), local sausage flight (which will be served with various pickles, local mustard, and grilled toast), steamed littleneck clams (which will be cooked with local seasonal lager, shallot, garlic, thyme, grilled lemon, parsley, and butter, and will be served with grilled toast), and more. In addition, the restaurant will offer some salads ("the field") like a baby spinach salad, which will have shaved carrot, pickled red onion, cherry tomato, poached egg, and warm peppered bacon dressing.

As for main courses ("big plays"), Gridiron will offer steak frites, porter brined half chicken (which comes with whipped potatoes, glazed baby carrots, wild mushrooms, spiced cranberry shallot jus, and micro carrot), Gridiron burger (which comes with house-smoked bacon, tomato jam, baby arugula, and American cheese), Maple Leaf Farms smoked duck breast (which comes with grilled broccolini, purple potato hash, and cranberry thyme duck jus), beer braised local pork shank (which comes with sweet potato pierogies, onion soubise, baby turnips, braising jus, and crispy shallots), and more.

If you have room for dessert ("overtime"), the restaurant will serve seasonal cheesecake, spiced apple cranberry bread pudding, chocolate pretzel cake, and more.

If you want to check out the new restaurant when it opens, you can find it at 2101 Hall of Fame Way NW, Suite 1, Canton, OH 44708.

On October 24 through November 7, the restaurant will be open 6 days a week, Monday from 4 PM to 10 PM, Wednesday to Friday from 4 PM to 10 PM, Saturday from 11 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 10 PM. It will be closed on Tuesdays. The restaurant plans to expand these hours of operation on November 8.
