14-year-old girl found safe after she's reported missing from Deerfield Beach
Broward Sheriff's Office detectives were searching for a teenage girl who was reported missing from Deerfield Beach this weekend, but she was found safe on Sunday afternoon. Sarah Capo, 14, had been last seen around 9:30 p.m. Friday near the 700 block of Northwest 38th Terrace, wearing a black shirt and black shorts.

According to Local 10, South Florida native Dr. Enid Pinkney has passed away at 92 years old. She spent her life dedicating her time to preserving and educating about African-American history in Miami-Dade County. Born in 1931 in Miami-Dade County, Pinkney began her education at All-Black Booker T. Washington High School before going on to work in the Miami-Dade Public School system. In the 1980s, Miami was a byword for violence. Drug cartels were murdering people.
