Heat advisory for 5 N.J. counties for Monday and Tuesday
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory at 3:35 p.m. on Sunday valid from Monday noon until Tuesday 8 p.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties. "Heat index values of 95 to 100 degrees expected on Monday, and around 100 on Tuesday," explains the weather service. "The highest heat index values will be generally in the afternoon and early evening hours."
