A Nassau police officer was injured as police were in the process of arresting a Far Rockaway man for an alleged burglary in Island Park on July 29. Police responded to a home on Kildare Road around 7 a.m., and found the alleged thief, Malik Hodge, 28, of Beach 45th St., near Long Beach Road and Carolina Road in Island Park.
