At the Vermont Adaptive Driving Show, the disability driving community shows off their vehicles and abilities
COLCHESTER – People with disabilities, their friends and families, and community members showed up in a meaningful way for the first annual Vermont Adaptive Driving Show. Held this past Saturday at UVM Medical Center’s Fanny Allen Campus, the event strove to bring the disability driving community together to promote inclusion, UVM Driving Rehabilitation instructor Heather Zuk said.

Plymouth Selectboard approves conservation easement
PLYMOUTH, Vt. – On Monday, Aug. 26, the Plymouth Selectboard held their biweekly meeting. The selectboard began the meeting by approving various adaptations to the agenda. Following this, the board discussed support for Farm & Wilderness Camp’s desire to attain a conservation easement through the Forest Legacy Program. The outcome of this was that the selectboard decided to recognize and support the owner’s property rights, as well as the right to attain a conservation easement.

I’m sure you’ve all heard about it or maybe even seen the footage of my incident at Lake Champlain on my social media channels. To tell the short version, I was running across Lake Champlain, it was a little bumpy, so I was cruising at about 50 mph when I came off a wave and my Skeeter hit something, went into a spin and I was thrown across the boat hitting my forehead, face and chest on the passenger side. I turned around after standing up and looked and didn’t see my Yamaha on the boat anymore.
Montpelier still without a post office as the community voices its frustration
MONTPELIER, Vt. — In the wake of last year's devastating floods, Montpelier remains without a fully operational post office. The problem began 13 months ago when July's floods severely damaged Montpelier's old post office building. Since then, the community has been forced to navigate postal needs outside their own city.
New owners will bring capital investments to Killington
