The St. John’s Prep tennis team took care of business for the final time this regular season in a 4-1 final against host St. John’s Shrewsbury. The Eagles finished 17-0 and 10-0 in the Catholic Conference.

Usual suspects John DeAngelis and Jack Prokopis served up singles wins. From there, the team of Luke Prokopis and Boris Kouzminov, as well as the combination of Mark McDuffee and Alex Melville scored doubles victories.

Prep is ranked No. 1 in the MIAA Division 1 power rankings, with brackets being released in the coming days.

Paige Martino, Lily Alves, and Maddie Sieve went 1-2-3 in singles play, followed by Leticia Marafon and Ella Hayman in first doubles. A second doubles victory later, courtesy of Vicky McCrann and Emma Wagon, and that was all she wrote.
