Anderson Hospital Foundation Raises $18,189.00 At Recent Golf Tournament
The 27th annual Anderson Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament was held on May 13th at the Sunset Hills Country Club in Edwardsville. The event featured eighteen holes of golf and included several contests, such as the Men’s and Women’s Longest Drive and Men’s and Women’s Closest to the Pin, Buy A Drive Contest, and a Putting Contest. “With Spring showers in the air, the weather held out for most of the day and the tournament ended up being a great success, with 134 golfers participating!” Said Lori St. John, Director of Development.

Drowning Victim Identified in Anderson County
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office reported recovering the body of a suspect who jumped into the Saluda River on Monday morning. Deputies were attempting to serve active bench warrants to the suspect at 11 a.m. when he ran a stop sign on River Road in Piedmont and collided with another vehicle.
