Nothing illegal or wrong with this at all. I haul oversize and have for years. As long as they communicate and are aware of how much room is available. It’s actually illegal in several states to run in a convoy of oversized loads. That’s why if one is holding up the pack they would rather you go around and put distance between the loads.
