Target Stores Recalls 5 Million Glass Candles for Reported Cuts and Burns
Consumer safety commission announces Threshold brand glass candle recall. According to NPR and the Associated Press (AP), Target is recalling 4.9 million glass Threshold candles. The AP report says, the “Threshold-branded glass jar candles were sold in multiple sizes and various scents — including water mint and eucalyptus, apple blossom and breeze and warm cider and cinnamon, among others.”
Prison Escape Update: The Manhunt is Over with 2nd Escapee Ameen Hurst Captured
Both inmates captured and others arrested in connection with the organized escape. After two weeks, the 2nd prison escapee from Holmesburg Correctional Center was captured without incident on May 17, 2023. This story made local and national headlines and news reports because of the unfolding details of this daring escape and multiple arrests that were made during the first few days of the investigation.
