But, in 2020, a beacon of hope emerged in the form of COVID-19 vaccines, a gift from above, or so it seemed. But it would be the King's successor, the most Honorable Highest Commander in Chief a man called just "Joe," who would save not only his people from the ravages of the virus but his country from loss of democracy too!

Despite the glimmer of hope, our story takes on a surprising twist. The Lollipop Guild, leaders of all things sweet and whimsical, suffered a devastating loss in the Tootsie Roll Pop contest. In a world where even candy competitions can turn sour, the guild graciously accepted defeat, teaching us all a lesson in humility. (Yep! I made that part up too. The Gilded Leader did not step aside graciously but tried in vain to overthrow his country and his government. We will go into this more later. But, now back to our story).
