With three different locations in total across the Myrtle Beach area, Dagwood’s is the ideal game day headquarters or dinner venue for the hungry patron.

One can never go wrong with appetizers at Dagwood’s. From the classics like fried mushrooms and jalapeno poppers to the incredible local seafood offerings like blackened shrimp, one will certainly find a favorite. One must-try is the Smokin’ Joe Frazier fries with ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, melted cheddar, Monterey Jack, bacon, and a side of sour cream for a knockout of an app.

Deli sandwiches are a highlight of the menu as well, featuring an assortment of classics, as well as a superb build-your-own option spread. A personal favorite is the Bumstead’s Club, a massive triple decker sandwich piled high with turkey, ham, Swiss cheese, American cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise on toasted white bread. It takes a minute to eat, not just because of the size, but the time taken to admire the beauty of this beast.

Make sure to check out the specialty sandwiches section of the menu as well to find an assortment of dippers, reubens, and wraps. One must-try for pastrami-lovers is the Drew Parks Dipper, a savory sandwich featuring sliced corned beef, pastrami, melted Swiss cheese, and bacon bits, with Dagwood’s deliciously tangy homemade dill mayonnaise on the side. The harmony of flavors at play is phenomenal no matter how one slices it.
