    Sandwiches are the bread and butter at King Street Grille, each served with their equally amazing seasoned waffle fries, and perhaps none is more captivating than their award-winning Chicken Chesapeake sandwich. Featuring a boneless grilled chicken breast, Swiss cheese, and a freshly made crab cake on a pretzel roll with dijon mayo on the side, the harmony of savory and rich flavors is pure food magic.

    Another local favorite is the Cuban sandwich, which comes with smoky slow roasted pork tenderloin, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, garlic aioli, and mustard for a hearty and zesty one two flavor punch. A personal favorite classic is the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, which features a crispy batter-fried chicken breast finished in house hot sauce, shredded lettuce, and tangy bleu cheese dressing for that iconic finish.

    Though handhelds are a major highlight, the scratch-made entrees at King Street Grille are always an excellent option too. Most plates are available in smaller or larger portion options, like the scrumptious Chicken Madeira with a sautéed chicken breast, mushrooms, and provolone cheese all covered in a sweet madeira wine sauce. The Sweet Tea Fried Chicken is a neat must-try for chicken fans too, featuring two deep fried chicken breasts marinated in sweet tea and spices and covered in a sweet tea reduction.

    Appetizers are solid all around too, especially the wings this far south of Buffalo. Eight wings an order is the standard with sauces including buffalo (hot), buffalo ranch, BBQ, honey BBQ, chipotle BBQ, teriyaki, garlic butter, garlic parmesan, Old Bay, lemon pepper, or jerk. A personal favorite app is the Mac & Cheese Egg Rolls, an artful little bite of heaven stuffed with gouda, jack, cheddar, and bacon, wonderful, wonderful bacon.
