A comedy show aboard the MSC Seashore cruise ship was abruptly interrupted by a disruptive passenger on August 15.

The incident, which was captured on video and reported by cruise news outlets, has sparked discussions about passenger behavior and the role of comedians in maintaining a respectful atmosphere.

The comedian performing at the time was Robert L. Hines, known for his viral YouTube video "Jones BBQ & Foot Massage."

According to eyewitness accounts, the unnamed passenger became upset during Hines' act and stormed the stage, throwing a drink at the comedian and attempting to throw a shoe.

As the woman gets in his face in the video the comedian can be heard saying,

"I'm gonna keep getting my money. They're paying me to be here. You paid to be here."

TikTok user K.D (@k.daniellelifestyle) shared a video of the incident, which quickly went viral.

In the caption, K.D. criticized the passenger's behavior, stating, "It is never the brand of ship. It is always its clientele." The video has garnered significant attention online, with many viewers expressing shock and disappointment.

Following the disruption, Hines continued to perform, attempting to incorporate the incident into his act. However, his efforts to defuse the situation were met with mixed reactions from the audience.

Some viewers found his jokes humorous, while others felt they were insensitive and inappropriate.

MSC Cruises has not yet released a public statement regarding the incident or the actions taken against the disruptive passenger. Rumors have circulated online that Hines was fired for his role in escalating the situation, but these claims have not been confirmed.

The MSC Seashore cruise was a three-night getaway to Nassau, Bahamas, and MSC Ocean Cay Marine Reserve. It departed from Port Canaveral on August 15 and returned on August 18.

While it is important for passengers to feel comfortable and safe, it is also crucial for them to respect the performers and other guests.

Just a few days ago Carnival's Brand Ambassador John Heald posted a message on Facebook about R-rated comedy shows and the importance of not going to the shows if passenger think they will be offended.
