Four individuals were arrested on charges of credit card fraud after trying to obtain large cash advances while sailing on the MSC Magnifica cruise ship.

According to news reports, Michael Emmanuel, Tyrisha Delgado, Quentin Tuck, and Devin Jones were apprehended upon disembarkation at Port Miami.

They face charges of conspiracy to defraud, grand theft, and fraudulent use of credit cards. Additionally, three of the suspects were charged with identity theft.

The group allegedly used three counterfeit credit cards to attempt to withdraw substantial sums of money from the ship's casino. However, all three attempts were unsuccessful due to fraud alerts.

Ship security personnel, alerted by the suspicious activity, contacted U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers for further investigation.

After a closer examination, it was discovered that the group's cruise booking itself had been made fraudulently.

The suspects were on a four-day cruise that included stops at MSC Cruises' private island, Ocean Cay, and Nassau.

After their return to Port Miami, they were taken into custody, booked, and subsequently released on bond.

Why were they released on bond? Did they pay back the money they owed for the cruise and any other charges quickly? Even then I would still say bad idea. The leniency of the judges in Florida is scary.
