Cruise Passenger Reveals Major Issue with Carnival Ship, Causing Itinerary Changes

A Carnival Vista cruise ship was forced to alter its itinerary after experiencing a technical issue that affected its cruising speed.

A new video has been circulating that shows just what that technical issue might have been.

According to news reports, the technical issue caused the ship's cruising speed to be significantly reduced. This forced the cruise line to make adjustments to the itinerary to ensure the safety and comfort of its passengers.

The video shared on TikTok by a cruise passenger with the handle @yesterdaystomorrowisnow who was on the Carnival ship provides insight into the nature of the technical issue.

The passenger, standing at the back of the vessel, points out that only one of the ship's propellers is functioning, resulting in a slower cruising speed.

"Typically the ship has two wakes coming out," the passenger explains in the video. "And see right now it only has one wake. This propeller on this side is working (on the right). This propeller on this side (left) is not working."

The slower speed limited the ship's ability to travel to its original destinations, prompting the cruise line to revise the itinerary.

While some passengers were understanding of the situation, others expressed frustration and disappointment.

News reports of a group of passengers chanting "Give us our money" caused quite a stir from this cruise.

Carnival offered passengers the option of a $400 on-board voucher or a full refund if they wished to cancel their trip. However, many passengers remained dissatisfied with the revised itinerary and the lack of control over their vacation plans.
