Cruise Ship Passenger Arrested for Assaulting Elderly Victim in Ship's Theater

A 49-year-old woman was taken into custody after allegedly assaulting an elderly passenger aboard a cruise ship that docked at PortMiami over the weekend.

According to the local news reports in Miami, Kelli Lyn Ryan, of Huntsville, Alabama, was involved in a dispute with a 65-year-old or older individual in the theater of MSC’s Seascape cruise ship.

The altercation escalated, resulting in Ryan allegedly striking the victim.

The incident was captured on surveillance footage, prompting the ship’s deputy chief of security to intervene.

Ryan’s son, Dylan Ryan, was also implicated in the incident and was removed from the ship in Jamaica due to “excessive behavior.”

Kelli Ryan was arrested on Saturday on a charge of battery on a person 65 or older. However, as of Monday afternoon, she was no longer listed in the jail's online database.
