After picking pumpkins, getting lost in corn mazes, or taking a hike set amongst the colorful foliage, there’s nothing better than warming up with a bowl of chili. If that sounds good to you, here are a few Ohio restaurants that serve both classic and outside-of-the-box chili creations:

Price Hill Chili (4920 Glenway Avenue, Cincinnati)

A fixture on Cincinnati’s west side since 1962, Price Hill Chili has a long history of serving hearty meals and ice-cold drinks. Diners come from Ohio and beyond. It’s not uncommon to see several generations of one family sharing a meal, and first-time visitors see with the first bite why everyone keeps returning for more.

For dinner, try the five-way chili. You’ll enjoy spaghetti topped with chili, onions, beans, and cheese.

    Byrne’s Pub (1248 West 3rd Avenue, Columbus)

Byrne’s Pub is a lively destination where sports fans gather on game day. There’s never a bad seat, and strangers become friends while cheering on their favorite teams.

Before feasting on a juicy burger or hot wings, enjoy a bowl of chili. It’s served with onions and cheddar cheese with crackers on the side.

Whitey’s Booze N’ Burgers (3600 Brecksville Road, Richfield)

Serving customers in Richfield since 1953, Whitey’s Booze N’ Burgers is known for its “cooked-to-order burgers, chili, and fries.” Hearty portions mean you’ll never leave hungry, and every bite bursts with flavor.

The restaurant's famous chili always draws a crowd, especially during the fall and winter. Choices include beef with beans, chicken, and jalapeno beef.

Tony Packo’s (1902 Front Street, Toledo)

Tony Packo’s started serving authentic Hungarian fare in 1932. In 1972, Actor Burt Reynolds was the first celebrity to sign one of the restaurant's hot dog buns. Today, countless other buns dot the walls, including those signed by Barbara Bush and Jerry Lewis.

During your visit, enjoy a bowl of chili with Packo’s original hot dog. You won’t be disappointed.
