Are you looking to satisfy your sweet tooth? Then head to one of Ohio’s chocolate shops, where you’ll find a range of treats from raspberry-filled truffles to pecan turtles. The stores include:

Bellbrook Chocolate Shoppe (101 East Alex-Bell Road, Centerville)

Bellbrook opened in 1984 to offer the best handmade chocolates and cookies. Every treat features the finest, freshest ingredients, and with year-round and seasonal offerings, there is always something new to try.

Favorites include buckeyes, truffles, and chocolate-covered cherries.

Mitchell’s Fine Chocolates (2285 Lee Road, Cleveland)

Founded in 1939, Mitchell’s Fine Chocolates opened as a “small neighborhood soda fountain and sweet shop” that served the theater next door. When the theater started offering in-house concessions, the shop focused on European-style fine chocolates.

Today, the chocolates remain a customer favorite, and Mitchell’s is one of Cleveland’s last remaining chocolatiers. Choices include mint truffles, dark chocolate coconut bonbons, and almond butter crunch toffee.

Sweet Designs Chocolatier (16100 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood)

Step into Sweet Designs to see why it’s one of the best chocolatiers in Northeast Ohio. The candy makers constantly innovate, and you never know when something new will hit the shelves.

Offerings include sea salt caramels, lemon truffles, and chocolate pretzels.

Winans Coffee & Chocolate (8090D Looney Road, Piqua)

When Winans opened, John F. Kennedy was president. It’s where friends meet to share stories over chocolate and coffee, and the team gladly provides suggestions when you can’t decide what to order.

Chocolate offerings include Watershed bourbon cherry cordials, chocolate-covered Oreos, and chocolate-covered dried blueberries.
