Tigers named to 7-3A teams Brian Smith Tue, 06/11/2024 - 7:13 pm After a memorable baseball season, several Jacksboro Tigers were selected to the All-District 7-3A baseball teams last week. The Tigers had three players receive superlative awards. Senior Kasey Ray Swan was Co-Pitcher of the Year with senior center fielder Kaleem Howard named Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Senior Jackson McComis was named Utility Player of the Year. Senior Lando Belcher wasaunanimouschoice as first-team infielder. Also named to the first team was sophomore pitcher Wyatt Gavit and senior catcher Kyler Swan. Second-team nods went to senior outfielder Tyler Mitchell and junior first baseman Cannon Valenzuela. Belcher, McComis, Kyler Swan, senior Jaxson Ward, Howard, Mitchell, junior Grady Brown and sophomore Brayden Rockey were named Academic All-District.
