    Tigerette golf wins District 7-3A title Brian Smith Wed, 04/17/2024 - 8:41 am   The Tigerette golf team won the District 7-3A title at districts earlier this month. The girls begin regional play in Baird today. Courtesy photo Jacksboro’s girls golf team won the District 7-3A title last week at courses in Wichita Falls and Runaway Bay. The girls finished with a two-round total of 798. The lowest four scores make up a team round. Allie Robinson finished with a 188, good enough for 2ndplace medalist. Dylan Nichols was 3rd place individual with a score of 194. Chloe Hart was 3rd with a 199. Brooke Hammond finished with a 217, Tessa Reynolds with a 237 and Brooklynn Bennett with a 240. Five of the six girls had lower scores on the 2nd day than the 1st. The boys finished with a two-day score of 755, led by 3rd place individual medalist Rhett Hammond with a 158. Ketch Cearley had a 190, Kolyn Besselaar finished with a 201 with Eli Jonas finishing with a 206 and Ace Walker with a 207. The girls team and Rhett Hammond will head to Regionals at Shady Oaks Golf Course in Baird Apr. 17-18.
