    Jack County Sheriff’s Office scouring near Coca-Cola Ranch Road for missing man

    JACKSBORO ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Jack County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for an individual tied to a missing persons case out of Fort Worth.

    Just before noon on Thursday, July 25, 2024, a Jack County Deputy received a call about a suspicious car parked on the side of a field right off Coca-Cola Ranch Road in Jacksboro.

    According to a Facebook post from the Jack County Sheriff’s Office , when the vehicle’s license plate was processed, it was discovered that it was tied to a missing person case out of Fort Worth.

    Immediately after, sheriff’s office personnel arrived at the scene and began a deep search of the area, but they found no clues or whereabouts of the missing person. The search continued into the night, ending around 10:30 p.m., and resumed Friday morning.

    The search continued on Friday, July 26, 2024, and multiple search teams, including helicopters, scoured the area.

    According to officials, many Texas units and agencies are assisting this search .

    The missing individual is a Black male in his mid-60s. He is bald and wears eyeglasses. He was last known to be wearing a black shirt and brown pants.

    The last known whereabouts of the missing individual were on Thursday, July 18, around 6 a.m. on Coca-Cola Ranch Road.
