Vallonia man dies in killed in motorcycle crash
A 66-year-old Jackson County man died Wednesday afternoon as the result of a motorcycle crash southeast of Brownstown, police report. Kim C. Kaufman of Vallonia was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck by an official with the Jackson County Coroner’s Office, according to a news release issued by Jackson County Sheriff Rick Meyer. The crash, reported at 12:45 p.m., occurred near County Road 300E and County Road 300S, just east of State Road 39.
