Southern Indiana motorcyclist killed in crash during attempt to pass dump truck
BROWNSTOWN, Ind. — A southern Indiana motorcyclist was killed following a Wednesday afternoon crash in Jackson County. According to a release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, shortly after 1:30 p.m. on July 3, officers received a call about a serious motorcycle crash with injury just east of State Road 39, near the intersection of County Road 300 East and County Road 300 South, in Brownstown Township.

Police release information about June 30 crash that left three hurt
Three people were injured in a crash on June 30 on State Road 11, north of Seymour, police report. The wreck in the 10700 block of North State Road 11 occurred when 21-year-old Alberto Sanchez lost control of the 2010 Ford pickup he was driving northbound and hit a tree on the west side of the road, according to a news release issued today by Jackson County Sheriff Rick Meyer.
