Man dies after being pulled from Jackson County lake
JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Police are investigating the death of a man found face down Wednesday afternoon in a Jackson County lake. At about 1 p.m. July 3, deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the area of Wamplers Lake Road for a possible drowning.
Discarded fireworks possible cause of Jackson County house fire
JACKSON COUNTY, MI - Fire officials believe discarded fireworks might be to blame for a blaze that destroyed a house Friday morning. Update On Area Northwest Ohio Rite Aid Closures
Rite Aids local to our area have stated they, along with all other Rite Aid stores in Ohio and Michigan will be closing. This information has not yet been confirmed directly from Rite Aid corporate, however, Rite Aid stores in both Fulton, Lucas, and Defiance Counties have informed The Village Reporter that they will indeed be closing. Furthermore, stores in Hillsdale County and Jackson County in Michigan have confirmed this as well.
