LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Break out your calendar, and write down this new date for the 2024 Jackson Pride and Music Festival.

Jackson Pride has announced on the website that its annual festival is postponed to Aug. 18 this year, “due to weather.”

The 6th annual Pride and Musical Festival was originally scheduled for this Saturday, June 29, from 12-6 p.m.

The Aug. 18 event will include a “Walk of Pride,” drag queens, food trucks, vendor booths, an all-ages bounce house, and live music all day.

It’s all going down at Horace Blackman Park, which is at West Michigan Avenue and Jackson Street.
